Note!: This CD (2008 edition) is included in the books "Evaluation von Freizeiten und Jugendreisen" and "Evaluation Internationaler Jugendbegegnungen"! The CD-ROM “Youth and Europe” was published by the German Federal Centre of Political Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung) in February 2007. Due to great demand a slightly updated version was edited in May 2008 (look out for the print "Ausgabe 05/2008" in line 5 on the CD). Note!: If you would like to work with the CD we recommend purchasing the respective book (see below). Allow approx. 2 hours for getting to know the system following its instructions. Afterwards all steps can be carried out independently by yourself.
System requirements: Microsoft Windows (Windows 98 or a more recent version).
For users of the CD edition 2007 (= CD without imprint of year) we recommend the installation of the Service-Pack.

The first publication for the evaluation of youth travel programmes
This is the first book of the project Evaluation of Youth Travel Programmes (based on data of the Protestant Youth in Württemberg). The second, revised edition was published in 2005 as volume 7 of the series "Bielefelder Jugendreiseschriften".

This book is a reprint of Wolfgang Ilg's diploma thesis from 2003, which describes the scientific basis for the project. It was accepted by the University of Tübingen in 2003. The reprint is an unchanged version from 2003 with an additional overview on new developments and an updated bibliography concerning the project.
