Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung is editor of the GrafStat CD "Youth and Europe",  which was desigend for the project Freizeitenevaluation.

The Federal Ministry of Youth has funded the development of the standard evaluation instruments.

The development of “Freizeitenevaluation” at a nation wide level was facilitated by Forscher-Praktiker-Dialog (Researcher’s-Practitioner’s-Dialogue) .

Kreisjugendring (District Youth Council) Bad Kreuznach supported the development at a nation wide level and is particularly involved in the sub-project "questionnaires for child travel programmes".

Evangelisches Jugendwerk in Württemberg [(ejw) Protestant Youth Office in Württemberg] first commissioned the baseline study for the evaluation of youth travel programmes in 2001. ejw is responsible for the youth work of Evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg (Protestant Church in Württemberg).

The development of the evaluation method was supervised by Dr. Rüdiger Arnscheid and Prof. Dr. Michael Diehl from the psychological institute of Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen

„Das Wissen zur Kinder- und Jugendarbeit“ (Information on Child- and Youth Work): a booklet edited by Landesjugendring Nordrhein-Westfalen (Regional Youth Office Northrhine-Westfalia) and Deutsches Jugendinstitut [DJI (German Youth Institute)]. The publication depicts 70 studies out off which 4 are dedicated to subjects linked to the evaluation of youth travel. Bundesforum Kinder- und Jugendreisen operates (together with other organisations) the Jugendreisearchiv, an archive specialised in child- and youth travel.

transfer e.V.: Educational institution and consultancy for intercultural learning, child- and youth travel and youth health. transfer e.V. offers training courses [e.g. TIB Trainingsseminare – together with IJAB e.V. (International Youth Service of the Federal Republic of Germany)] and publishes a list of reference books.

Institut für Freizeitwissenschaft und Kulturarbeit e.V. [IFKA (Institute for applied leisure studies and cultural work)]: IFKA deals with current issues and challenges within its working fields. The institute publishes the series "Bielefelder Jugendreiseschriften", which was also used for the publication of the book Freizeitenevaluation ("Evaluating Youth Travel Programmes – Gaining new Perspectives").
