I have accidentally changed the GrafStat data template. Where can I find this file within the CD?

All GrafStat-data is located under D:\grafstat\program files\GrafStat2_i\quest. From here you can download it to your hard drive (standard path: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\(Gemeinsame) Dokumente\grafstat). This will restore the original settings.

Where can I find the English questionnaire for participants of tri-lateral, cultural youth encounters (3_TN)?

Due to an unfortunate mistake, the first edition of the CD “Youth and Europe” does not contain the word-version of the English questionnaire 3_TN. Please use the CD’s pdf-version instead. Alternatively you can download a word version here: English Questionnaire 3_TN.doc (Microsoft Word)

Do I have to attend a training course in order to use GrafStat?

No! GrafStat is an autodidactic programme that was developed especially for statistical laymen. In order to avoid any problems we strongly recommend to follow the instructions which are included on the CD „Youth and Europe“. Please allow for 1 – 2 hours for training.
During our training courses and evaluation days we intensely practice the use of GrafStat and demonstrate further possibilities which the programme offers. Furthermore our participants get familiar with additional principles and methods regarding evaluation and quality management for youth travel programmes and international youth encounters.

Who finances the project?

From the beginning on, the independent evaluation tool was intended as a cost free service for organisers and local institutions. Initial funding for the development of the nationwide project was granted by Forscher-Praktiker-Dialog (Researchers’-Practicionars’-Dialogue). Development costs for the international project were covered by Franco-German Youth Office and German-Polish-Youth Office. The German Federal Centre of Political Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung) funded the CD-ROM and the internationalisation of the project. The standard evaluation does clearly not pursue any commercial interests.
